Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 6, 2026
RIVOR Insights values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it may be processed through the services that power the platform, and the choices you have when you use RIVOR Insights.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use RIVOR Insights, we may collect:

How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create, authenticate, and manage your account
- Process uploads, display dashboards, save analyses, explain financial reports, and provide reporting tools
- Run transaction enrichment, categorization, AI-assisted features, clear financial report explanations, and other platform workflows you request
- Manage subscriptions, billing, add-ons, usage limits, and account entitlements

Billing and Payment Information
If you purchase a paid plan or add-on, billing and checkout flows may be processed by Stripe or other payment service providers we use. We may receive and store subscription metadata such as plan selection, customer identifiers, checkout session identifiers, payment status, billing interval, and invoice-related records. Payment card details are generally handled by the payment processor rather than stored directly by RIVOR Insights.
How Your Data Is Stored and Processed
RIVOR Insights uses Supabase for account authentication and application data storage. Depending on the features you use, your information may also be processed by service providers that support billing, infrastructure, hosting, transaction enrichment, AI-assisted workflows, report explanation workflows, analytics, or service communications.
This means account information, uploaded financial data, transaction data, report contents, extracted text, saved analyses, saved P&L explanations, usage records, and billing-related records may be stored, transmitted, or processed through those systems as needed to operate the platform.
Depending on the workflow you use, uploaded content or extracted text may be processed by third-party service providers that help deliver core product functionality, including hosting providers, database or storage providers, payment providers, enrichment providers, and AI providers.
AI-Assisted Processing and Providers
RIVOR may use third-party AI service providers, currently including OpenAI, to help process uploaded financial documents, extract information, categorize transactions, and generate plain-language summaries. We do not sell user financial data. AI providers may process submitted content according to their own API data-processing and retention policies.
RIVOR may update or change AI providers or models over time to improve reliability, accuracy, cost, or performance. Do not upload documents that you do not have permission to analyze.
Browser Storage and Session Data
RIVOR Insights may use browser storage and session technologies to keep you signed in, maintain account sessions, support authentication workflows, and remember certain settings or preferences.
Third-Party Services
RIVOR Insights relies on third-party services to operate core platform functions. These may include Supabase for authentication and database storage, Stripe for billing and payment processing, Plaid for transaction enrichment or categorization features when enabled, and other infrastructure, AI, hosting, or communications providers that support the service.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us run the platform, with authorities when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, systems, or users of RIVOR Insights.
Users should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information and should upload only the files needed for the workflow they want to use.
Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the platform, manage active accounts, fulfill billing or legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and support legitimate business operations.
If you delete your account, certain data associated with that account may be permanently removed, including profile records, saved analyses, saved transactions, saved P&L explanations, and account access, subject to any legal, billing, security, fraud-prevention, or operational retention requirements.
Where the product supports it, you can also delete saved analyses or saved P&L explanations before deleting the full account.
Your Choices
You may update certain profile and account details from your account settings. Where the product supports it, you may also delete saved analyses or saved P&L explanations directly. You may request account deletion or contact us about corrections or privacy-related questions, subject to any legal or operational limits that apply. The Data Deletion page summarizes the current self-service and support-based deletion paths.
Information Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to help protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
